         How to Create A Selection Bar to Import to Excel?


Many a times we require to edit details pertaining to the master files in ABAS. Also the quantity of data is quite huge. Since the editing is not possible from the standard system we need to copy the data into the excel sheet for the editing purpose.

The copying can be done using selection bar for all the data . For the selection bar we can include conditions as well as the fields required.

The below screen illustrates how we can add field names into the selection and generate the list

          
  

The list generated will be as below .So details listed will be with all details rather than just name and search word which is the standard.



Now if we need totocreate a selection bar with condition we can do it the following way.

For Eg;- Search word –From A –D, condition=if in this case to list if the contact person name is empty

In the prompt enter the following condition

% ,,such=A!D ; name=;betreuer=""

Such a condition will list all the customer data with the condition said above.

Now inorder to copy the data to excel just click on the left hand side column first row(pressing shift) until last row.



So the entire data is selected. Now simply paste to an excel sheet. From here we can edit the data.
