How Can AI Transform you business and beyond in 2025

As we step into the new year, we find ourselves at the dawn of an era powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). While much has been said about AI’s potential to revolutionize industries, it’s clear that AI is still in its early stages, with many yet to fully embrace its transformative power. According to the 2024 Work Index report by Microsoft, 60% of leaders express concern that their organization’s leadership lacks a clear plan and vision for implementing AI. While the capabilities of AI are vast, the challenge lies in its adoption and integration into business strategies.
From my perspective as the Chief Executive Officer of SRKK Group , AI remains a central focus for 2025. Nearly 90% of business leaders have identified AI as a key element of their current strategy. The coming years will be defined by how deeply businesses can adopt and embrace AI to unlock their full potential. To stay ahead, we must not only adapt to change but wholeheartedly embrace it.
In a recent survey done by PwC, while 68% expect the global economy to improve over the next 12 months, 55% of CEOs in Malaysia do not believe their company will be viable in a decade if they continue on their current path. This is a real testament that businesses have to keep innovating to sustain their growth momentum, and AI is certainly one of the important aspects.

This was a crucial first step, laying the foundation for further growth and technological evolution. It allowed businesses to streamline their operations, making them more accessible and manageable. However, in today’s fast-paced world, digitalization alone is no longer sufficient to stay competitive and businesses must go beyond simply converting data and systems to digital formats.
The next logical step is about adding intelligence to these digital systems. By integrating AI, organizations can make their processes smarter, more adaptive, and capable of evolving with the changing business environment. AI allows users to save over 30 minutes daily to streamline business processes, with over 90% reporting that AI helps manage heavy workloads and enhances job satisfaction. This just shows that embracing AI across your organization’s workflows isn’t merely an option but necessary to significantly boost productivity and improve the overall business efficiency.
Earlier this year, I set a personal goal to improve my health. Instead of hiring a personal trainer, I decided to experiment with a Co-pilot to design a personalized fitness plan to help me reduce my waist by 2 inches with the condition of using only body weight exercises. Co-pilot provided me a 6-day workout routine tailored to my needs. After following this plan for a couple of weeks, I felt significantly better and much more energized. That said, I still believe that working with a personal trainer has its own value—helping you track your diet, address any health concerns, and provide expert suggestions that go beyond what an AI can offer. In fact, even personal trainers are now utilizing AI tools to make exercises easier for their clients.
This small yet impactful experience reinforced a larger truth: AI is a tool for empowerment, not just productivity. Whether it’s streamlining business processes or helping individuals achieve personal goals, AI’s potential is vast and adaptable. Take Microsoft’s Copilot, for example. Its ability to assist in generating meeting summaries, reports, and emails while also enhancing workflows showcases how AI can be a powerful ally in both professional and personal realms. And the results were fascinating: it improved work quality for 52%, with 31% employees reporting less cognitive fatigue and 84% finding Copilot’s suggestions fair, respectful and non-biased.
Upskilling the Workforce Alongside AI
As advanced as AI has become, it still can’t replicate the “human touch.” While these technologies excel at data processing and remembering, they lack the ability to understand emotions. Empathy, creativity, and critical thinking remain distinctly human strengths. That’s why we place such a high value on upskilling our teams.
According to Forbes, today’s workforce is eager to embrace AI-focused learning, making this the ideal time to equip them with the skills to use AI responsibly and effectively in their roles. Consider the role of a content producer. By upskilling through reading and continuous learning, they can distinguish high-value content from something that’s simply generated by AI. However, when the creativity of a human is combined with AI’s intelligence, the result is a truly powerful collaboration.
