TECHNOLOGY company SRKK AI Bhd has expanded into Indonesia with the incorporation of a Jakarta-based subsidiary and secured its first project worth US$60,000 (RM244,590).
The digital transformation solutions provider said its new entity, PT SRKK Consulting Indonesia, will support its regional expansion strategy following its recent initial public offering (IPO), which raised RM1.84 million for growth initiatives.
SRKK AI has completed four proof-of-concept projects in Jakarta over the past year and secured its first commercial project with a regional retailer in Indonesia involving data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. The project is targeted for completion in the first quarter of next year.
Its CEO Yew Lip Sin said the IPO has provided the company with the resources to accelerate its regional expansion, while the latest project demonstrates growing customer confidence in its capabilities.
PT SRKK Consulting Indonesia will be led by Edmund Situmorang as president director, supported by the company’s first Data & AI Technical Architect in Indonesia.
SRKK AI said Indonesia’s digital transformation market is expected to grow from an estimated IDR1.05 trillion (RM274.1 billion) in 2026 to IDR1.27 trillion (RM330.4 billion) in 2028.
